These salt-processed goat hides are selected for their natural dark colors. Some have a bit of transluscence and.or spotting.  
 
Unless marked "Thick" or "Thin" ... most are medium thickness (approx.: .014-.015 in.).  If you have questions about suitability of thickness for your instrument please e-mail. 
 
These may change color slightly or develop light areas (white) when stretched.  This is especially true around the perimiter where the hide is stressed in contact with the rim.  The final appearance may vary from the photo. 
 
PLEASE NOTE:  All of the hides pictured on this site are unique.  They are offered first-come-first served.  My website is unsophisticated - it doesn't remove the photo from inventory automatically when a hide is requested.  I don't monitor the orders in real time or even daily (in some cases). Some hides shown in the website may be sold and unavailable.  In other words, I may receive multiple requests for an individial skin before the photo is taken down.  In such cases, I may reach out to let you know that the hide you wanted is already sold and to assist you with a reselection.  SORRY for any inconvenience.
