These salt-processed goat hides are selected for their natural dark colors. 
 
Some have a bit of transluscence and.or spotting.  
 
They are very similar quality to my "spotted and patterned" hides . 
 
Unless marked "Thick" or "Thin" ... most are medium thickness (approx: .014-.015 in.).  If you have questions about suitability of thickness for your instrrument please e-mail. 
 
NOTE:  as will all un-mounted skins, these may change color slightly or develop light areas (white) when stretched.  This is especially true around the perimiter where the hide is stressed in contact with the rim.  The final appearance may vary from the photo.
